Help Us Promote STEM Education Your support directly provides the resources we need to fulfill our mission of providing free and low cost STEM enrichment opportunities to youth and teens in the metropolitan Chicago region. With your generous help, we can continue to facilitate informal learning opportunities at museums, libraries, after school programs, community centers, and other informal learning spaces. Donate Your Used Computers and Computing Devices Please consider donating your used laptop computers and peripheral devices, USB drives, external or portable hard drives, and other recyclible hardware, including projectors and surge protectors. We install the open source Ubuntu operating system on every donated laptop, together with Sun Microsystem's Open Office suite, and a variety of free and open source learning technologies such as those used in our programs. Your donations give us the portability to offer programs in any environment without regard to the hardware needs of the hosting facility.
